Overview of the experiment
On July 30th, at Kaiping Yaqi Company, a validation test was conducted on the foaming agent provided by Avient Company (note: the company after the merger of the original "Klein Color Master" and the original "PolyOne") using a three layer (10L automotive urea drum) blowing machine with model LIN-90II-TS3+3 from Yaqi.

The purpose of the test is to verify the changes in the performance of blow molded products caused by chemical foaming processes through the effects of several formulations on blow molding, and to verify the positive effects of chemical foaming processes on weight reduction, reduction of molding cycles, and improvement of product performance.

Test method: The inner and outer layers are raw materials, and different foaming agent formulations are added to the middle layer. Samples are taken for comparative testing under the same conditions.


About foaming test
The foaming process is currently a solution promoted for plastic weight reduction. Foaming is divided into physical foaming and chemical foaming. The former is formed by injecting nitrogen gas into the foaming layer and mixing it to produce uniformly distributed nitrogen bubbles; The latter forms a foaming layer by releasing carbon dioxide bubbles during heating with a foaming agent. Evant foaming technology belongs to chemical foaming agents, which can achieve plastic foaming without adding additional nitrogen injection equipment.

The results of this experiment include: adding 0.8% foaming agent to the foaming layer can achieve superior foaming effect compared to other formulations; After adding foaming agents, the anti drop performance is effectively improved, and the drop height of products with the same weight is increased by more than 300mm; After adding foaming agent, the melt index significantly increases and the mold expansion of the material embryo significantly increases; It can effectively reduce the weight of the product.




 
LIN-90II-TS
The LIN-90II-TS bottle blowing machine has a mold moving stroke of 900mm, and the extrusion system can be selected from single layer, double layer, three layer, or multiple layers. It can be equipped with parallel axis motor driven extrusion systems with various extrusion requirements. Whether it is a 3+3/4+4 2-4 liter container with handle (lubricating oil bucket/laundry detergent bucket), a 6+6 1-liter container, or a 8+8/10+10 250-500 ml daily chemical packaging bottle/food packaging, it is easy to handle. It is the preferred production model for efficient mass production.
